Meghan and David met in Chicago while working at Aon in the summer of 2015. They went on their first date in 2016, dancing the night away to live jazz music at Kingston Mines.

Meghan and David enjoy traveling, camping, outdoor sports, and boating with David's family on Lake Michigan! A highlight of their travels was spending a month in Lake Tahoe last winter, skiing and snowboarding every day.

In October of 2023, Meghan and David went camping in Acadia National Park in Maine. At the top of a mountain hike, while enjoying a beautiful sunset, David got on one knee and proposed.
